David Dhawan is making a return to the big screen with his signature three-way rom-com chaos in ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. On Tuesday, the makers unleashed the much-anticipated teaser featuring Varun Dhawan opposite the sparkling chemistry of Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, promising a whirlwind of laughter and love triangles.

The teaser starts with two AI-made toddlers asking about each other’s parents. They see their moms have different names, but maybe the same dad. We meet Jass (Varun Dhawan), a cool guy, and the two “moms”, Baani (Mrunal) and Preet (Pooja). A new version of the song ‘Ishq Sona Hai’, from the 1999 movie Biwi No. 1 with Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen, plays in the background.

The movie boasts a solid supporting lineup including Chunky Pandey, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Mouni Roy. It is set to hit theaters on May 22.
