The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 result 2026 likely by tomorrow, April 20, 2026, according to various media reports.Once released, candidates will be able to check their results on the official websites, which are jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.ac.in, and examinationservices.nic.in.Students will need their application number and date of birth or password to download the scorecard.This year, over 11 lakh candidates appeared for the computer-based exam. Out of them, around 2.5 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced 2026 for admission to BTech programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).The JEE Main 2026 April session was conducted from April 2 to April 8, 2026. The provisional answer key and response sheet were released on April 11, and the objection window closed on April 13, 2026.

JEE Main 2026: How to calculate marks

As per the marking scheme:

  • +4 marks for every correct answer
  • −1 mark for every incorrect answer
  • No marks for unanswered questions
