Assam HSLC Class 10 result 2026: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has officially declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2026 results today, April 10, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams can now check and download their digital mark sheets through the official website and other authorised online portals.Tthe results have been published in the form of a digital gazette, and students need to enter their roll number and other details to access their marks.
Overall pass percentage improves slightly
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 65.62%, showing a slight improvement compared to last year’s 63.98%. A total of 4,29,249 students appeared for the examination, out of which 2,81,701 students have successfully passed.
Boys outperform girls
In terms of gender-wise performance, boys have performed better than girls in the HSLC 2026 examination. The pass percentage of boys stands at 67.78%, while the pass percentage of girls is 63.96%, as per the official data released by the board.
Division-wise result details
Looking at division-wise results, 85,189 students secured first division, 1,50,167 students passed in second division, and 46,345 students were placed in third division. This shows that a large number of students have cleared the exam across all categories.
Distinction and star performers
The board has also shared details about high-performing students. A total of 3,983 students secured distinction marks, while 13,681 students achieved star marks, indicating strong academic performance among many candidates.Apart from this, the data also shows that 9,315 students were absent, while 5 results have been withheld and 135 candidates were expelled during the examination process.
How to check marksheets
Students can download their marksheets from multiple official websites as well as through a dedicated mobile application launched by the board. Schools will use these digital marksheets for admission to Class 11, and the board will announce the schedule for distribution of original certificates later.Direct link to check your result on TOI result portal is available here.Note: The board has further informed that if any errors are found in the results, corrections will be made through official notifications.
